I’m calling this blog Shelley 4 Peace, just because I like the sound of it. Also, my name is Shelley Hartling, and this is my blog of lofty dreams. I don’t believe that Peace should be a real lofty dream, but in our day and age, it truly is. Peace is just one of the dreams I have for myself and the world, though. Here, I will share with you every step of my journey as I turn my greatest dreams into reality… and I hope to inspire you to do the same…
As I begin this blog, on July 13, 2009, I am 33 years old. My birthday was exactly one month ago. I had a great party with a few close friends, but that’s beside the point… I currently work with a company called Kids Talk Story, helping to empower kids to use their voices and tell their own stories. I live in Hawai’i with my girlfriend and our dog. We like to drink Mochaccinos and eat animal crackers on Friday afternoons. I enjoy my life as it is, but I still have plenty of dreams…
